Radio City Rockette, Keltie Colleen loves a lot of things: dancing and Vitabath are among the top few.

Keltie Colleen

Keltie is dancer and choreographer with an impressive background, working with artists like Taylor Swift, Panic! At theRockettes Rockstars & Rockbottom Disco, Fergie, and Sean-Peal, just to name a few.   She also worked closely with Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams, dancing in the Disney film, Enchanted and has graced the small screen on Comedy Central, MTV, and Saturday Night Live.  Her talent has even landed her features in many dance publications including ESPN Magazine.

She’s a down-to-earth, bubbly girl with a story to tell and a love for Vitabath.  She’s recently published an autobiography, Rockettes, Rockstars, & Rockbottom, and she’s taking it on tour with Vitabath as her sponsor.

Why Vitabath?  Because she’s a huge fan of our Sugar Scrub!  Nothing feels better on a dancer’s feet after a long day of choreography than a good rub down to re-soften those twinkling tootsies!

Vitabath sponsors Keltie She loves our Sugar Scrub so much that Vitabath is offering a coupon in the first 500 pre-orders of her book for a free 10 oz Sugar Scrub with a $10 purchase.  In addition, she’s taking deluxe sizes of our Sugar Scrub and our 20% Shea Butter Hand Créme on tour with her for her fans to try.  She knows her fans will love Vitabath as much as she does.

Bath Benefits

November 2, 2010
By Tracy Cox, Vitabath Staff Writer

In this day and age, we are always rush rush rush, go go go.  We take showers as a daily necessity- get clean and get out.   Amid theBathtub hustle and bustle, we’ve lost track of a classic, therapeutic way to cleanse.  With all the stressors that every person deals with daily, perhaps it’s time to consider a change in the routine and revisit the bathtub.

Bathtime used to be a big deal, an event even.  The Romans utilized bathhouses for everything from Roman Bathperformance theaters to relaxation destinations.  The Egyptians took baths for purification purposes prior to worship and the Japanese believed in ritual bathing to cleanse the mind and spirit.  In many of these cases, the resulting clean body was an afterthought.  This goes to show the many ways in which a bath can be beneficial.

Today, we use them to clean our bodies but there are many physical and mental benefits to a bath Woman Bathing

  • Soaking in a tub is a great way to treat large areas, such as for satisfying itchy skin.
  • A warm bath can help relax an anxious mind.
  • The drop in body temperature resulting from a bath can help a person who is having troubles sleeping.
  • Being in the water can take the stress off sore joints and muscles
  • A warm soak may ease the pain caused by sports injuries or arthritis.
  • Baths may reduce inflammation, pain, menstrual cramps and burns.

Consider this the next time you’re about to squeeze your Gelée into your shower pouf, consider using it in your bathwater instead and enjoy the many healing benefits of a nice, warm bath.

Your Mom Used Vitabath for a Reason

October 5, 2010
By Tracy Cox, Vitabath Staff Writer

When I go into my kitchen to wash dishes, I use the same soap my mom used.  When I wash my clothes, I use the same detergentVintage Dish Soap my mom used.  And when I get in the shower in the morning, I clean up with the same product my mom used…Vitabath!

Why is this?  It isn’t that I’m not capable of trying new products; I just know to trust what my mom has been using for years.  I do this for one reason:  in all of my mom’s years of experience, she’s learned to only use the best.  She knows that the best is Vitabath.

1950's MomMy mom has taught me to steer clear of trendy fad products and stick to the ones with a reliable history.  She knows that Vitabath has been around for over 50 years and she trusts it because she knows that what’s inside the bottle is quality, not fad.

The original creators of Vitabath were European skin care specialists who were seeking out an alternative to traditional alkaline soaps that were notorious for being harsh and drying to the skin.  They blended the finest vitamins and botanical extracts that nature had to offer, creating the original Gelée formula.  Over the years, that formula has only improved with the help of modern science, which is why Vitabath is one of the top premium bath and body products on the market.Vintage Vitabath

Vitabath is an antioxidant rich blend of 23 essential ingredients including Vitamins A, B3, B5, C and E.  This mix was designed to “supplement the skin” rather than dry it out.  Other products may smell nice, but Vitabath is good for the skin, in addition to its wonderful assortment of bold fragrances.

I know my mom would never steer me wrong.  I trust her on what I use to clean my clothes- I definitely trust her about what goes on my skin!  So take your mom’s advice (or mine!) and try Vitabath.  You’ll feel the difference as soon as you do!

A lot of people say trends start in California.  So if you want to be ahead of the curve and find out what’s hot before everyone else does look for the products the star’s use.Molly Burnett & Casey Deidrick

By now most of you have seen our posts about all the celebrities who visited Vitabath at the Daytime Emmy’s this summer.  At the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this year in Las Vegas, one of the first things the stars did was to stop by the gifting suite and get their own swag bag which included a kit with five product samples and a shower gel from Vitabath.  Some of the stars that were happy to receive our product include the cast of The Doctors, Ally Mills (Pam, B&B), Carnie Wilson, Arianne Zucker (Nicole, DAYS), Cameron Mathison (Ryan, AMC), Scott Clifton, Molly Burnett, and many others.

We had a great time introducing some of Hollywood’s most beautiful people to the fantastic benefits of our products and how they can keep you looking young and beautiful.

Well, there is more to tell you about Vitabath and Hollywood.

Rebecca’s on-camera presence got her recognized by Hollywood’s top brass. She has been cast in features: Brothers, Get Low, Double Tab, Super Shark and Strange Case of Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; television shows: The District, She Spies, Providence, Third Watch, Third Rock from the Sun; and commercials by Budweiser, Coors and Keystone.

Rebecca has leveraged that position to the ultimate and appears in the sizzling promotion for “Deadly Women”, who’s new season premiered on August 12th on the ID.Discovery Channel. Rebecca will be appearing soon in an upcoming Vitabath infomercial.  Keep checking back for updates on it’s fall launch.

But Vitabath and Hollywood doesn’t stop there either! Britany Haynes is so in love with Vitabath that she brings our products Britney Hayneswith her right on the set of Big Brother. She can be seen continually juggling our products on reality TV. Now there is an endorsement that most would kill for.

When asked “What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house?” She responded “Sharing a bathroom”.  Maybe she was worried they would steal her Vitabath and that’s why she carried it with her all of the time.

This year people flocked to the CBS website in hopes to share their voice on the favorite houseguest. They chose Britney Haynes. She was the youngest houseguest in the competition this year and was part of the final four. Congrats go to Britney

Product Review: Vitabath Original Spring Green

September 29, 2010
Written by Fooditalia

One of my favorite bath and shower products is Vitabath Original Spring Green Bath and Shower Gelee. This thick, rich shower gel, moisturizes and cleans your skin as it fills the air with the fresh clean scent of botanical extracts and pine. Vitabath was originally developed in 1957 by European specialists of skincare.

I have used Vitabath ever since I can remember. My mother is from France, and she has enjoyed Vitabath for years. Growing up, I remember the many Vitabath products that frequented our bathroom. The air was always filled with the glorious scent of Original Old PackagingVitabath. Today, my own bathroom contains the Vitabath products that I have grown to love since my childhood. Vitabath Bath and Shower Gelee comes in a variety if different scents, however my favorite, is the Original Spring Green. Vitabath claims the gelee gently cleanse with a luxurious, creamy lather. Nutrient rich formulas contain Vitamins A and E and botanical extracts to help soothe and condition skin. This product is amazing. After using it, my skin is always so soft and the fresh scent of the Vitabath Original Spring Green Bath and Shower Gelee lingers on my skin for a long time. I also use this product when it’s time to shave my legs. I rub a small amount of it onto my legs and it acts like a luxurious shaving gel that makes my legs smooth as silk every time. I have noticed that Vitabath has changed the packaging. It looks to be more of a contemporary style, which looks very nice, but I am still partial to the original graphics and font that was used in the original packaging. The simple shape of the bottle remains the same. The bottle doesn’t look like it was changed at all. If it was, the change is so subtle that you can’t even notice it. Vitabath Original Spring Green Bath and Shower Gelee costs about $18.00 for a 10.5 ounce bottle. For me, it’s worth the price. It’s a luxury for me to use this product and it really conditions and moisturizes my skin well. You don’t need to use a large amount of this product to get the desired result. In the shower, a few dabs of the Vitabath will suffice and in the bath, one cap full is all you need. Depending on your individual preferences, you can use more or less. Original New Packaging

I try not to go overboard and use too much of the Vitabath Original Spring Green Bath and Shower Gelee at any one time. This is easy to do, because this product is so luxurious and you tend to want to use more, but if you do, the cost could add up. I love to surprise my mother with her own Vitabath too. When my bottle is just about empty, I know that my mother’s bottle might be empty too so I always get her a new bottle when I get mine.

Vitabath is very mild on my skin. My skin tends to be on the sensitive side and certain products can cause my skin to become dry, irritated and itchy. I never had this experience with Vitabath Bath and Shower Gelee. In fact it’s very soothing to my skin. For me, it always prevents razor burn that can be very irritating somewhat painful.

I highly recommend Vitabath Original Spring Green Bath and Shower Gelee for anyone who wants a luxurious bath and shower gel that produces a rich, moisturizing, creamy lather. The invigorating scent of pine and evergreen smells wonderful. The scent of Vitabath is unique. When you open the bottle, don’t expect the usual shower gel scents of fruit, flowers, or a soapy smell. This is what really takes you by surprise and what adds to it’s charm.

I will continue to use Vitabath as part of my daily routine to keep my skin clean, moisturized and fresh.

The breeze is cooling off, the leaves are changing and the nights are getting longer.  It’s that time of year again, back to school… but more importantly, back to the dorms!

Shower CaddyI loved living in the dorms my first few years of college.  The hustle and bustle of classes and new friends all around made things fresh and exciting.  The only thing no one likes about the dorms- communal bathrooms.

On the first day of dorm living, everyone is a little apprehensive about that first walk to the showers, shower shoes on foot, caddy in hand.  But the luxurious scent of Vitabath® made the dorm showers a place of relaxation.

The dorm showers were never the most exciting experience about being on my own for the first time.  I was used to one shower, oneDorm Showers toilet in the bathroom, just like everyone else.  It took a little time getting comfortable with the row of showers until the scent from my favorite Fresh Citrus Twist® Gelée swept through the bathroom and down the halls.  It was only minutes before people started asking, “Who has that yummy smelling body wash?”  Within a few weeks, I was passing my Sugar Scrub over the tops of the shower stalls so everyone could use Vitabath®.

FRESH_Relaxation PackageIt was official, I had the girls on my floor hooked on Vitabath® and the best part was that it was affordable enough for everyone to have their own (and leave me my Sugar Scrub!)

Vitabath® is a tradition and I was excited to pass it along to my new friends and get the right jump start on college, with a level of comfort and even some everyday luxury!

SkinIt’s easy to hop out of the shower in the morning, towel off, put on your shoes and run for the door on a busy morning but don’t forget that important step of moisturizing!  Sure, moisturizing after your morning shower keeps you smelling like your favorite Vitabath® fragrance, but it does a lot more than that!

Why do we moisturize?

  • To prevent skin from becoming dry and chapping
  • To maintain suppleness
  • To help prevent aging of the skin
  • Protect the skin from weather or free radicalsWoman Moisturizing

What causes dry skin?

  • Weather
  • Advanced age
  • Medication
  • Hormones
  • Winter months
  • Sun tanning

What happens when we forget to moisturize?

  • Skin loses elasticity- wrinkles start to appear!
  • Skin becomes red and blotchy
  • Skin becomes itchy and flaky

What does Vitabath® Moisturizing Lotion do for you?

  • Creatine in the formula revitalizes cell energy to boost skin firmness
  • Amino acids replenish moisture
  • Vitamins A & E are antioxidants and protect against free radicals in the environment
  • Aloe vera helps skin heal
  • Shea butter is an emollient to smooth the skin

So what’s the best way to moisturize?

PLUS for Dry SkinRight after you get out of the shower, when the bathroom is still steamy and your skin is still slightly damp.  Moisturizing before you’re 100% dry will lock the moisture into your skin and maximize its positive affects.

So don’t skip this important step, you’ll thank yourself later!
