I am particular when it comes to what I wash with. For starters, I have extra sensitive and dry skin. I need something that is going to nourish but not irritate. Use a gentle exfoliant before bed (preferably mixed with a moisturizing oil), and follow up a super thick ointment or lotion (something with a texture similar to Vaseline can work wonders). So what if you’re sticky and shiny? You’ll be smooth and sleek in the morning.

In this day and age, we are always rush rush rush, go go go.  We take showers as a daily necessity- get clean and get out.   Amid the hustle and bustle, we’ve lost track of a classic, therapeutic way to cleanse.  With all the stressors that every person deals with daily, perhaps it’s time to consider a change in the routine and revisit the bathtub.
